I was instructed by my GI doctor to see an infectious disease (ID) doctor in Weston, Fl immediately due to an infection indicator in my lab work. The ID doctor cancelled my appointment because the hospital was short of doctors to do rounds in the hospital.

I then contacted my primary care (PC) located in West Palm Beach, who was also involved due to my weakened immune system. My PC doctor ignored my classic symptoms of pneumonia and sent me home multiple times. During one of my multiple visits at the West Palm office, I was approached by an abrasive doctor who yelled at me in front of a room full of people, "You really need to keep your child quiet because we have really sick patients here". I went straight to the ER (NOT CC), where I was admitted for pneumonia w/sepsis.

I was in a 5 day coma and almost died. I contacted the Florida Cleveland Clinic Ombudsman and was told they did not find any improper occurrences. When in fact, my PC was fired and is now practicing in Ft.

Lauderdale. Also, the physician that humiliated me in a room full of people and who manages the West Palm location was not even reprimanded for her bad behavior nor offered me an apology.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Location: West Palm Beach, Florida

You need to let us know what doctor that was so we all can be aware and not make an appointment to see him. He should have his license revoked.
